About |

Christ
Church United is a church-based football club, run by unpaid volunteers to
provide soccer coaching for boys and girls, regardless of their ability
level. The Club is recognised by the Football
Association as a Mini-Soccer and Soccer Stars Centre, and its coaches hold
appropriate FA coaching qualifications. It forms a part of |

The Club’s
policy on Child Protection reflects the requirements and guidance of both the
FA and the Church of England (Guildford Diocese). It covers the
appointment and training of coaches, CRB check requirements, first aid,
procedures at coaching sessions, and arrangements for transporting children
to/from tournaments and matches. We have a nominated Child Protection
Officer (Jonathan Tear) who keeps abreast of developments and provides advice
to the Club. Please see the separate sheet on procedures at coaching
sessions, which is included in this pack. |

Can

In
recent seasons a number of the Club’s experienced coaches and leaders
have decided to hang up their boots, and we urgently need some ‘new
blood’ to help run the Club. If, like us, you want to see Christ
Church United continue to thrive as a great place for youngsters to improve
their football skills, please ask your mums and dads if they’d be
willing to help out. All they need to do is contact me (or one of the other
team managers) about how they can get involved in a way that suits them and
supports a terrific football club. |
